Heritage buildings and custom profiles

A great many buildings in the County are old, and stock siding does not always suit them. On our 18th-century barn restoration in Prince Edward County we hand-crafted the siding and window alterations to replicate the building’s original appearance, and preserved the original wood and metal wherever it could be saved. We can match profiles for heritage homes, barns and additions where new work has to disappear into the old.

On a new house, siding is one stage of a longer job. Our custom home in Prince Edward County ran from site clearing and foundation through framing, roofing and exterior cladding to interior finishes and landscaping — the exterior was detailed with the windows, doors and roof as a single assembly rather than as separate trades.
